Safety

Safety has always been an important part of our building process.

Safety Committee

We had a working and productive safety committee long before we got the benefit of the discount on our workman’s compensation insurance premiums. It is a key part of our safety program. An issue presented to the committee will stay on the agenda until there is a resolution.

Safety Awards Program

The safety committee administers our award program. It is a reward program based on hours worked without a lost time accident. Employees are rewarded when they reach the milestones. Some employees have worked over 25,000 hours without an accident or injury.

Safety Director

We have a full time safety director to develop and monitor the safety program. His duties include administrating the light duty work program.
